Conflict Minerals

Conflict Minerals

Orban Microwave is committed to responsible sourcing of minerals and to compliance with applicable regulations, including the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502 and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation.

Scope of Conflict Minerals

These regulations apply to four key minerals: tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG).
When sourced from conflict-affected and high-risk areas, these materials can contribute to human rights abuses.
Orban Microwave requires that all 3TG used in our products come from responsible smelters and refiners.

Reporting through CMRT

We complete the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) to disclose the origin of 3TG in our supply chain.
This ensures transparency for our customers and demonstrates our commitment to responsible sourcing practices.

Supplier Engagement

All suppliers are required to provide conflict minerals declarations and confirm sourcing from responsible smelters/refiners. Compliance with conflict minerals regulations is part of our vendor evaluation and approval process under the Quality Management System.
