REACH & RoHS Compliance
Orban Microwave is committed to meeting international product safety and material regulations. We design and manufacture all products in compliance with the EU REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) and the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU, including amendments such as RoHS 3).
RoHS Compliance
The RoHS Directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Orban Microwave products comply with these restrictions, covering substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, and phthalates. Compliance is verified through supplier declarations and confirmed in our records.
REACH Compliance
The REACH regulation requires the identification and safe use of chemicals, including restrictions on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). Orban Microwave actively monitors updates published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and requires our suppliers to declare the presence of any SVHCs above threshold limits. This ensures that our products are safe, traceable, and compliant.
Supplier Engagement
Compliance is a shared responsibility. All Orban Microwave suppliers are required to provide material declarations confirming REACH and RoHS compliance. These records are controlled documents within our Quality Management System.
