The product range includes frequency converters, low-noise and power amplifiers, transponders, T/R modules, RF switches, modulators/demodulators, synthesizers, and DC/DC converters.
Each solution is engineered for performance, reliability, and integration into complex system architectures.
Low Noise Amplifiers
We offer a range of Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) designed for L, S, C, X, and Ka-Band applications.
Our LNAs are engineered to deliver superior performance, with options optimized for either minimal noise figure or enhanced strong signal handling capability, depending on your specific needs.
For applications requiring improved linearity and strong signal performance, our balanced LNA designs offer a significant improvement in the third-order intercept point (IP3).
Explore our selection of LNAs, tailored to meet the demands of your communication systems, whether for satellite, radar, or other RF and microwave applications.
Power Amplifiers
We design and manufacture high-performance RF power amplifiers for integration into larger systems.
Each unit is engineered for efficiency and reliability, often incorporating an onboard DC/DC converter to simplify system-level power management.
Typical frequency bands include S- and X-Band, with output powers up to 300 W at S-Band.
Custom solutions for other bands are also available.
Our amplifiers are optimized for demanding RF and microwave applications, including radar, telemetry, and satellite communication systems.
T/R Modules
Our X-Band T/R module is a highly integrated unit designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern radar systems.
This module features four channels, each equipped with a 2W GaN power amplifier, an LNA, and an RF switch. The use of GaN technology ensures high power efficiency and reliability.
Specifically engineered to support monopulse radar systems, this version of the X-Band T/R module includes two beamsteering computers.
Whether for defense, aerospace, or other advanced applications, this T/R module delivers the performance and flexibility needed for cutting-edge radar operations.
Frequency Converters
We build a range of frequency converters that convert L- and S-Band signals to baseband outputs at 70 or 140 MHz.
These converters are designed for integration into industry-standard 19″ racks and feature redundant power supplies for reliability and continuous operation. An Ethernet interface supports remote control and monitoring.
The modular architecture allows multiple converters to be installed in a single chassis. Both power supplies and converter modules are hot-pluggable for ease of maintenance and system flexibility.
Suitable for satellite ground stations, communication infrastructure, and other RF applications, these converters deliver robust, adaptable performance.
Antenna Couplers
This UHF coupler subsystem has successfully flown in space and is used to manage the interface between a pair of redundant UHF telemetry, tracking, and control transponders and a shared antenna system. It routes signals from the active transmitter to the antenna while providing built-in protection in the event both transmitters are mistakenly activated.
A 6-port stripline coupler feeds a set of four monopole antennas in quadrature, ensuring correct phasing and amplitude distribution. High-quality substrate and stripline construction minimize loss and maximize isolation. Transmit/receive switching is achieved using PIN diode switches and λ/4 lines, offering fast switching and high isolation between transceivers.
Control is handled by the transceivers, with nanosecond switching times. The unit includes forward and reflected power detectors, with outputs available at the control connector for use in transmitter power regulation or system diagnostics.
Transponders
Transponders play a crucial role in both space and terrestrial communication systems, serving as repeaters and enabling various advanced applications.
These devices are often used for ranging, Doppler measurement, time transfer, and radar return enhancement in environments such as deep space, marine radar, and location/positioning systems. They are also employed in identification systems like air traffic control (ATC) secondary surveillance radar.
Transponders can range from straightforward linear “bent pipe” frequency converters to more complex systems with functionalities such as data store-and-forward, ad-hoc networking, command and telemetry, and unique identification. Radar transponders, a specialized type, listen for radar pulses from surveillance stations (e.g., air-traffic, marine, space) and transmit return pulses or location data after a precise delay. These are particularly useful for enhancing detection in high-clutter environments, detecting low radar cross-section targets, or ensuring long-range detection where passive reflection is insufficient.
We have developed transponders using both analog and digital radio systems for space (including Doppler and SDR ranging transponders in C/X band) as well as terrestrial applications (such as communication repeaters and radar transponders).
Software Defined Radios
We develop Software Defined Radios (SDRs) as part of larger RF and system-level solutions.
SDRs perform key signal processing functions in software, allowing for flexible configuration and updates without hardware changes. This approach can be valuable in systems requiring adaptability across evolving requirements.
Our SDR platforms support a range of frequency bands and modulation schemes and can be tailored to specific program needs.
These radios are available for select applications, including research, prototyping, and fielded systems that benefit from reconfigurable architectures.
Synthesizers Oscillators
Frequency synthesizers deliver precise and stable signal generation for a wide range of RF and microwave applications. With broad frequency coverage and fine resolution, they are well suited for communication systems, radar, and electronic warfare—where accuracy and reliability are critical.
Built on advanced phase-locked loop (PLL) technology, synthesizers are available in both fixed-frequency and agile configurations. They offer low phase noise, fast switching speeds, and high spectral purity, and are designed for straightforward integration into complex RF systems.
RF Switches
Our RF switches are engineered to provide reliable and efficient signal routing in a variety of RF and microwave systems. Whether you need to switch signals between antennas, filters, or amplifiers, our RF switches deliver the performance and flexibility required for complex RF architectures.
Designed for high-performance applications, our RF switches offer fast switching speeds, low insertion loss, and high isolation. Available in various configurations, including SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) and multi-port designs, these switches can be tailored to meet specific operational requirements.
Whether integrated into a larger system or used in stand-alone applications, our RF switches provide a robust and reliable switching solution.
DC/DC Converters
DC/DC converters are engineered to provide reliable power conversion for a variety of applications, including space and defense.
Designed for consistent performance in demanding environments, these units ensure high system reliability. Configurations are available to support a wide range of input and output voltage requirements.
Protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, and thermal shutdown help safeguard connected equipment.
Whether for compact, integrated systems or higher-power applications, these converters deliver dependable power management.
